Logan Village State School operates from 8.50am to 3.00pm Monday to Friday.
The front desk in our office is manned from 7.15am to 3.00pm. Calls placed to the office outside of these hours may be sent to our school message bank.
Staff may be available for appointments outside these hours via appointment.

Before school
No students should be on the school grounds prior to 8:00am.
Students who arrive before 8:20 am must wait under the top covered area until the bell at 8.20am. Students may then place their bags outside their classroom and choose to participate in one of the following activities;
- Walkers’ Club - Physical activity on the oval.
- Readers’ Club - Reading in the library.
- Talkers’ Club - Sitting in a supervised covered area or playing handball.
Once a student arrives at school, they must not exit the grounds. Students are not permitted to go to the shops once they have arrived at school.
No person - parent or child, may enter a classroom while a teacher is not present. This is for safety as well as respect for the teacher’s and students’ working space.
Teachers are only available for interviews before school by prior arrangement, when an appointment has been made. Teachers, who are at school before 8:50am are there to make preparation for the day or may be involved in meetings.
PCYC and local Childcare Centres offer before school care. Children are escorted to school from the centre in time for the commencement of instruction.
Please note that limited supervision is provided before school. Officially, teachers are not on duty until 8.50am.
