The Department of Education regularly reviews Queensland state schools to ensure they're delivering a quality education to students. The reviews play an important part in how the department supports school improvement, and provides schools with independent feedback, tailored to their contexts and needs.
Recently Logan Village State School participated in our Quadrennial School Review. It was conducted by a team of experienced educators who are trained in the use of the National School Improvement Tool—a nationally-recognised framework for reviewing teaching and learning practices.
Unlike many other review systems, schools are not ranked or given a performance rating. Instead, schools are given a comprehensive report for consideration. The report presents key findings and recommended improvement strategies to help maximise student outcomes.
As part of our responsibilities, and in an effort to encourage transparency around our planning processes in to the future, we are delighted to share the executive summary of our most recent review. The document can be accessed and printed by clicking the link in the top right of this page.
