 Sessions

Parenting is one of the most challenging and rewarding jobs we will ever do. Children are all so different and they don’t come with instructions! arenting is one of the most challenging and rewarding jobs we will ever do. Children are all so different and they don’t come with instructions!

The Positive Parenting Program is for parents / carers of children of all ages. This program aims to promote positive, caring relationships between parents and children and help develop effective ways of dealing with a variety of childhood behavioural problems.
Positive Parenting is an approach where parents will learn how to encourage desirable behaviours, manage misbehaviour and teaching your child new skills

Volunteers

Logan Village State School has a great number of volunteers, not only family members but members of the community eg, Constable Craig, our local  Adopt- a-Cop. All year levels would greatly appreciate your assistance. All you need to do is attend a volunteer induction session, these take approximately 2 hours and are held on the second Friday of each term.

Students love to welcome volunteers into their classroom to assist in many areas of learning from Reading Groups  to Writing Activities.

If the classroom is not appealing, the Tuckshop is always after volunteers too...from 8am until 2pm each day, even just for a few hours would be hugely appreciated!!! Especially Fridays!!!

Volunteer Inductions

Inductions are held on the second Friday of every term. Sessions run from 9am-11am and cover school expectations and values. Inductions are valid for 2 years. Please make sure yours is current.
