Sadly, in 2019 we are losing three of our teachers as a result of the Department's transfer
processes – Miss Rachel Cunado, Mrs Nameeta Soni and Ms Danijela Rigby will all be moving on to new schools in the New Year.

Miss Cunado has been transferred to Bloomfield River SS in Far North Qld. Miss Cunado has been at Logan Village State School for almost 10 years!

Mrs Soni has been transferred to Grand Avenue State School. Mrs Soni has worked at LVSS for 8 years.

Ms Rigby has spent the last 5 years at Logan Village State School and will be taking on a Literacy/Numeracy Support Teacher role at Southport State High School. Ms Rigby has been working toward her goal of moving into the High School sector for some time. It’s great to see her goal come to fruition.

We are also losing our Master Teacher, Mrs Bronwynne Billiau. Mrs Billiau has worked diligently around improving reading outcomes at Logan Village SS for the last three and a half years. Mrs Billiau will be returning to Jimboomba State School as a result of the Master Teachers positions coming to an end in 2018. She has been a significant asset to our school and will be a great loss for our team.

Mrs Tracey Parker, one of our long serving Teacher Aides also won’t be returning to Logan Village SS in 2019. Tracey has secured herself an administration position at Kingston State School.

On behalf of the entire school community, we would like to personally thank all of these lovely ladies for the work they have done whilst at Logan Village. They all have made a significant difference in the lives of the teachers, students and families they have worked with in their time at our school.
